So, clearly I lied in my last post. Not intentionally, of course. I truly expected to get right back in the groove of cranking out two posts per week. But alas, life interferes again. Nothing terrible or traumatic (or exciting, unfortunately), just long work hours, physical and mental exhaustion, and the lack of time and mental energy to write. It's interesting, being a relatively new blogger, I always figured that no matter what else was going on in life, there would always be the time and motivation to write. It really seemed like such a low-maintenance hobby. But I underestimated how the desire to write (or at least to write solid, non-half-assed posts) can definitely be diminished by mental fatigue from other aspects of life. Well, lesson learned!
I'd like to promise that there will be no more long posting droughts like this again, but obviously it would be silly to make such promises. For now, I'll just say that I will try my best! Thing are slowing down now, so hopefully there should at least be some improvement in the short term.

Encounter #11: Fun with Porn
(Blogger's note: Sorry for the long delay in posting, things have been crazy busy lately with work and life in general. But I am hoping to get back on track with 2 posts per week again now....thanks for your patience!)
I have to admit.....it was my idea.
I was emailing back and forth with "Amanda" who I had met on CL, and she asked me if there was anything I wanted to do that would be a little 'different' when we hooked up. So I thought about it. Porn: Pros and Cons
A little prelude to our next encounter.
So, tonight's topic is porn. Specifically, the pros and cons. Now I need to start be clarifying something right away.......I'm not talking about sitting down by yourself, watching a hot porn, and then having a fantastic masturbatory experience. Cons
1. Neither of you quite look like those porn stars (the self conscious factor)
2. Neither of you are quite in good enough shape to be doing all of those positions!
3. When used repeatedly, it can become a crutch for an otherwise struggling sex life; can't get turned on without it
4. Creates an unrealistic portrayal of how easy it seems to consistently have amazing sex, while you are in the context of a long term relationship
5. Keeps your focus off of the person you really want to be focused on!
Nit picking there? Perhaps a little. I do lean on the pro side of porn much more, but as we shall see in the next post, those cons can creep in every now and then! Details to come.......

Tangent #8: Sounds of the Female Orgasm
After being with a fairly decent number of women in my life, one thing that has always fascinated me is the amount of different styles of orgasm that I have encountered with each one.
